My patriot made a difference to our country by providing food for the soldiers in the Revolution. He also donated land for and built a school house on that land. I love finding out about our ancestors because they make up who we are. They endured much harder times so we can live a relatively comfortable life….
For me, the thing I love best about being in DAR is association with other patriotic women who strive to keep history alive with historical events, encourage patriotism in everyone, and educate all.
This chapter means a lot to me because the women from various sectors of life come together and their friendship is precious.
I love volunteering with DAR by indexing and preserving historical records, handing out flags, encouraging education for all and honoring our Heavenly Father.
