I was thrilled at proud when I learned 10 years ago that I was a ‘Daughter’…from a passing comment from a cousin in the Midwest. I am honored to be so connected to this American patriot. I love ancestry and learning more about my ‘Patriots’…which include both Thomas and his father, Robert.
Robert was eventually captured and was in a British Prison in Canada until released. Thomas was a scout and infantryman. He eventually moved to Wisconsin and founded the town of Lyons, Walworth County, Wisconsin. It is south of Milwaukee near the Illinois state line.
